The Seaboard Centennial celebration was a success! Kansas City started the celebration with a BBQ luncheon and was surprised with a performance from the Cobras.

This fun-packed week also included a SOTG Managing Director’s Conference. There were over 40 attendees from overseas affiliates whom attended. The Conference was located at the historical Hilton President Hotel in downtown KC. The first day of the Conference included various presentations from the MD’s for SOTG’s new affiliates (GMM, GMA, GMD, Jamaica Grains & Cereal), division update from Dave Dannov, compliance updates and project update for the BI tool, and a group exercise to identify each other’s personality traits. Then, Seaboard Corporation hosted a gala located at Union Station, one of Kansas City’s biggest attractions.

On the final day, the MD Conference focused on round table discussions, which provided the MD’s with the opportunity to collaborate and brainstorm on best practices for various topics. Later that evening, everything wrapped up with the American Royal Rodeo at the Kansas Speedway where Prairie Fresh® pork was served. As we celebrate the centennial anniversary of Seaboard Corporation in 2018, we are reminded of the dedication and strength of our employees.
