We are thrilled to announce the completion of a transformative project that has brought sustainable energy and vital medical supplies to a local healthcare facility, Khoza Rural Health Center, in Zambia. Through our partnership with Innovation: Africa, and our affiliate, National Milling Corporation Limited, we were able to support the installation of solar energy systems, providing the facility with bright, reliable lighting and essential equipment to improve healthcare services for 5,860 community members.
Our contribution enabled the facility to secure crucial items, including a delivery bed, infant scales, baby cots, a medicine trolley with tray, drip stands, mattresses, office chairs, laptops, and phone tablets. These items will significantly enhance the level of care healthcare workers can offer, making a lasting impact on patients and the overall well-being of the community.
The solar power installation will allow the facility to operate smoothly, even during power outages, ensuring that no family is left in the dark when receiving critical care. This contribution will have a transformative effect, improving not only access to healthcare but the futures of thousands of people in the region.
