Namilco Guyana recently won the “Gold Manufacture Award for Quality” in the large business category at the National Quality Awards 2017 ceremony, presented by the Guyana National Bureau of Standards (GNBS).

The award recognizes business organizations for their commitment and dedication to implement quality standards. This is the first time the award is being given and is expected to continue annually.

To qualify for the award businesses are assessed in areas of customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, use of process approach, improvement, evidence based decisions and relationship management.

The ceremony was held in October, recognizing small, medium, and large companies with platinum or gold awards.
